trip home: a photo essay of sorts

This past weekend, we took a trip home to have a party with my parents and everyone we know.  It was phenomenal.  Here are a few pictures from our trip.

Mom and dad and me.  Rather goofyesque.

My favorite fountain on the Plaza in Kansas City.

Extraordinary friends, Tom and Amanda.

A blurry picture of O’Malley’s underground pub in Weston, MO.  Go there, if you’re ever in the neighborhood.

Mom and Dad.  Look how cute they are :)

Beer.

At the party, we had karaoke.

… and somehow my dad and grandpa got a hold of the microphones.  I got video of this, too.

Chaeli, Becca and Jim Bob having maybe too much fun?

My godfather, Uncle Timmy

The margarita machine (Marg-O-Rama, I think it was called?) There was a note on it that nobody read, and I’m pretty sure it was scrawled in a tequila induced haze.

Dad and Aunt Bridgette

Becca and Cousin Vanessa

The back porch.  I just thought it was pretty.

Dad and Grandpa again :) I love this picture.

The shopping cart that greeted us when we got home.

THE END
